Jewels jacked
A cat burglar climbed into a 68th Street home and stole $500 in jewelry on June 17.
The resident left the home between Eighth and Ninth avenues in Dyker Heights at 1 pm and discovered someone had broken-in at 8:30 pm, but it was too late, police said.
Fanny pack picked
A fashion-forward fiend filched a fella’s fanny pack while he was sitting on a bench at the corner of 88th Street and Shore Road on July 16.
The victim was relaxing on a park bench and listening to headphones with his waist-bound bag sitting on the bench beside him at 3:30 pm, but when he reached down to grab the pouch, it was gone, police said. The fanny pack contained credit cards, police said.
On the naughty list
A reverse-Santa raided a Bay Ridge Avenue home, breaking in through the basement sometime between June 30 and July 12 and stealing a laptop and toys.
The goon smashed the cellar door lock to get into the home between Shore Road and Owl’s Head Court in Bay Ridge, police said.
Flagrant foul
A park-prowling pilferer stole a ball player’s backpack from a Bay Ridge Avenue park on July 13.
The victim set his bag down to play basketball in the park between 12th and 13th avenues in Dyker Heights at 8 pm, police said. The bag contained a wallet and credit cards, a police report states.
Bad caddie
A bogey stole a guy’s custom golf clubs and bag from a vehicle parked on Baycliff Terrace and 68th Street in Bay Ridge on July 15.
The linksman left his gear in his 2002 Nissan at 9:20 pm, police said.
