A children’s scribe led budding wordsmiths on an exciting new word journey when author Nancy S. Mure visited Public School 312 to talk about a novel creation – digital books.
Mure, accompanied by her co-author, Jeanne Glassman Clare, spoke to students about her books, geared to children ages six and above, and confronting otherwise daunting issues, such as dealing with change, eating issues and questions about death and heaven.
The writers spoke to students at three assemblies in the auditorium of the school, 7103 Avenue T.
Among Mure’s works are, “The Caterpillar that Wouldn’t Change Here,” “The Pizza Man and the Parrots,” and “I Am a Dot: A Tale About Punctuation and Purpose.”
