Killed at Internet cafe

A 25-year-old was killed and two other young men were wounded Sunday following a bloody knife fight in an Internet cafe on 61st Street near Seventh Avenue.

Police said that they have arrested a 19-year-old in connection with the melee that began inside the Hot Game Network at 10:34 p.m. on October 4.

Witnesses alleged that the suspect, identified as 19-year-old Nelson Liu of Coney Island, was inside the cafe when he began arguing with his three victims.

As the fight spilled outside, Liu allegedly pulled a knife and started slashing and stabbing his opponents.

Police said that the 25-year-old who died was stabbed in the arm, but the cut hit a major vein. He ultimately died of his injuries at Lutheran Medical Center. The other two men, 24 and 18, suffered stab wounds to the arms and back. Both were listed in stable condition following treatment.

Liu was taken into custody without incident, charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon.
