Grammy Award-winning Korn frontman Jonathan Davis — the iconic singer behind hits such as “Coming Undone,” “Alone I Break” and “Got the Life” — has ventured into premium pet products with a new, dog-friendly brand, Freak on a Leash, aptly named after the band’s 1998 hit.

On Friday, Aug. 29, he promoted the line at an adoption pop-up in Brooklyn, teaming up with Badass Animal Rescue and Bushwick Bark at the Irving Avenue location, where rescued pups modeled F.O.A.L. gear, fans shopped the collection, entered raffles and enjoyed drinks from local sponsors.

F.O.A.L. is Davis’ first foray into premium pet products, blending his signature rock-and-roll style with functional, dog-friendly gear. The line includes apparel, collars, leashes, and toys designed for pets and their owners who want to show off their love for both dogs and music.

A portion of Friday’s sales benefited Badass Animal Rescue, a local nonprofit dedicated to saving dogs in urgent need. The event gave fans the chance to adopt, shop and sip for a cause — and maybe even leave with a new best friend.

Attendees included devoted Korn fans drawn by both Davis’ music and the cause.

For mega fan Thomas Auer of Florida, the event was particularly meaningful.

“I am here today to possibly meet JD and support his business and the dogs,” he told Brooklyn Paper. “My mom died a few years ago and she was a big Korn fan so it drums up a lot of great memories of her.”

For Meaghan Rogers of Baltimore, the connection to the music — and the pups — was just as personal.

“I’ve been listening to Korn since I was 11 years old,” she said. “The music, much like dogs, get me through a lot so this is a tremendous cause.”
