90th Precinct

Southside–Williamsburg

Painting the frown

A cretin peppered a lady with shots from a paintball gun on Moore Street on July 11, according to law enforcement officials.

The 30-year-old victim said she was about to walk into the back door of her building on between Humboldt Street and Siegel Avenue at 4 am when she heard a series of pops. A moment later, she felt pain on the right side of her face and her hand and found that she had been shot with white paintballs, a police report states. She did not see the culprit, according to the report.

Domestic turns arrested

Police pinched a guy at a Division Avenue residence who they say beat his girlfriend and attacked officers when they arrived to break it up on July 7.

Cops said they arrived at the abode between Wythe Avenue and Berry Street at 10:50 am after receiving a call saying that the 46-year-old man had punched the woman in the face and stolen money from under her bra. Police tried to arrest the suspect but he wrestled with the officers and punched and kicked them, injuring both of them, according to their account. The accused also tried to snatch one of the officer’s guns out of its holster, officers said. Both arresting officers were taken to Woodhull Hospital for treatment and the guy was charged with robbery and a variety of other crimes, cops stated.

Mini-mugger

A pint-sized thief tried to steal a cellphone from a preteen at Broadway and Lorimer Street on July 8, and broke the victim’s finger in the process, according to a repot.

The 11-year-old victim reported that he was talking to his father on the phone as he was walking home from school at 11:30 am when a tiny kid ran up behind him and grabbed his cellphone out of his hand. The victim slapped the device out of the little rascal’s hand and picked it up off the ground, police recounted. The delinquent then tried to fight for the phone, and, though he failed to retrieve it, he managed to break the victim’s finger in the scuffle, cops said.

Light fight

An ungrateful son threw a lamp at his mother on July 8 after she kicked him out of her house on Taylor Street, officers reported.

The victim said she started arguing with her 21-year-old son about the move at 2:30 pm and the rapscallion started breaking doors and smashing stuff at her Bedford Avenue pad. Unsatisfied with mere property damage, he chucked the lamp at her and it slashed her on the right leg, according to the authorities. Police say they are searching for the lout.

Ouch

A galoot tossed a trash can at a woman on the corner of Keap and S. Fourth Street on July 7, officers stated.

The 25-year-old victim said she and her boyfriend got into argument with the fiend at 10:50 pm and the fiend picked up the full garbage receptacle and hurled it at her, slicing her right elbow. The assailant is still on the loose, cops said.

Back to the stone age

A crook stole all four tires and wheels off of a parked car at Wythe Avenue and S. Fifth Street on the evening of July 11, police reported.

The victim’s girlfriend said she and her beau parked his 2012 Honda Accord at 7 pm and, when they came back to at 7:45 am on July 12, they found the vehicle up on cement blocks.
