‘Tis the season of glad tidings and borough revelers brought plenty with them when they jumpstarted Yuletide festivities at Lady Moody Square.
The young and the young-at-heart ushered in the holidays with a spirited program of celebration presented by State Senator Marty Golden, in conjunction with the Southwest Brooklyn Parks Task Force, at the triangle bordered by Avenue U and Van Sicklen Street.
Among the crowd-pleasers was the illumination of a towering fir, holiday caroling, plus a visit with Santa.
Hot chocolate added to the warm cheer.
