Lennon’s legacy lives on in Brooklyn

Hundreds of public school children from National Dance Institute (NDI) presented a high-spirited mid-year performance at PS 235-The Lenox School, 525 Lenox Road in the East Flatbush section of Brooklyn.

The event introduced the NDI year-long John Lennon-inspired theme honoring the memory and impact of his life, music and legacy. During the school year, young dancers worked on performances of original choreography set to Lennon’s songs. This year in NDI programs, more than 35,000 children and their families will discover and be transformed by Lennon’s enduring music, artwork and humanitarian efforts.

In its 10th year of partnership with NDI, PS 235 continues to be one of NDI’s largest In-School Programs and receives continued support from the students’ families.
