A freebooter stole $200, jewelry, and clothes from a woman on the Boardwalk on May 22.

The brute started yelling at his victim near W. 19th Street at 10 pm, eventually pulling a box-cutter on her, according to a police report. The victim forked over the loot and ran, but the fiend followed her all the way to Surf Avenue and W. 12th Street, where he unleashed a beating on the poor woman before fleeing to parts unknown, cops said.

Rx for disaster

An invader stole prescription drugs from a W. Eighth Street home on May 16.

The victim found a stranger in his apartment between Surf and Neptune avenues at 6:30 am, police said. The goon threatened the guy with a metal object and made off with his pills, according to a police report.

A sneak stole a city worker’s Department of Transportation-issued laptop from an unlocked work car on Harway Avenue on May 19.

The municipal employee left his ride unlocked between 26th Avenue and Bay 43rd Street at 9:50 am, and when he came back, his computer and wallet were missing, officials said.

Total tool

Police arrested a Brighton Beach man who they say stole construction tools from an Ocean View Avenue building on May 21.

The site is at the dead-end of the avenue — which backs up to a wall separating Sea Gate and Coney Island, and a neighbor claims she saw the suspect passing tools over the wall at 1:05 am, officials said.

Police say they recovered the goods from the suspect’s Brighton Fifth Street driveway.

Shop hacker

A tech-savvy thief took $2,345 in cellphones and electronics from a Brighton Beach Avenue shop on May 13.

The filcher walked right in the front door of the store between Brighton Sixth and Brighton Seventh streets, and made off with the goods, police said.

Must-flee TV

Police arrested a man who they say stole a television set from a Brighton Fourth Street resident on May 18, and then bragged about it to her.

The victim claims the man made a copy of her house key and took the boob tube from her home between Brighton Beach and Oceanview avenues at 6:30 am. She says she saw him standing in front of her crib with the set, and he even copped to the theft, according to a police report.

Officers promptly arrested the man at his apartment, cops said.
