Back slasher
A brute slashed a man in the back on 86th Street on March 31, causing a large laceration.
The assault occurred between Bay 41st Street and 26th Avenue around 11:30 pm, when the scoundrel slashed the man with the unknown sharp object before fleeing, according to the police report.
Missing wheels
A thief stole a man’s 2017 Toyota Sienna from its 64th Street parking spot on March 28.
The victim told police he left the car running with the doors locked between 19th and 20th avenues at 12:15 pm while he ran into his house nearby for 75 minutes. He returned at 1:30 pm to find an empty parking spot, police said.
The owner of the car had the keys the entire time, and there were no signs of broken glass in the area, according to the report.
Knifed up
A crook threatened an employee of a Bath Avenue bodega with a knife on March 28, and then stole $1,000 cash from the register.
The victim told police he was in the bodega between Bay Parkway and Bay 31st Street just before 1 am when the lout threatened him with the blade and struck him with a knife sharpener, causing swelling and bruising to his forehead and a laceration to his left hand.
The pilferer then raided the register before fleeing on Bath Avenue towards Bay Parkway, while the victim went to Maimonides Hospital for treatment, officers noted.
Stabbed and stole
A pair of punks punched and stabbed a man in his shoulder and hip when he refused to hand over his wallet on Ovington Avenue on March 28.
The nogoodniks stabbed the man with an unknown object just after 4 am between 14th and 15th avenues, and he went to Maimonides Hospital for treatment.
Fake money, real steal
A thief used a 70th Street resident’s credit card to make a $9,500 transaction on a digital currency website on March 28.

Missing money
A crook stole $9,500 from a 79th Street resident’s bank account on March 28, police said.
Police say the man, who lives between 15th and 16th avenues, found $7,500 gone from his checking account and $2,000 taken from his savings when he went to his bank around 2:15 pm. He did not lose his cards or give anyone his banking info, cops said.
Scammers beware
A phone scammer swindled a 14th Avenue woman out of $8,800 on March 29.
The liar called up the woman, who lives at 77th Street, at around 2 pm, and told her she owed $8,800 for computer repairs, according to the police report. The perp them commanded the victim to buy $5,000 in Best Buy gift cards, relay the gift card numbers over the phone, and then deposit $3,800 into an account at a nearby bank, all of which she did, she told officers.
What a tool
A burglar stole construction tools from an unlocked van parked on Ovington Avenue on March 30.
The van was parked between 14th and 15th avenues at 5 pm when the theft occurred, police said.
Welcome home
A home invader stole $7,000 from a 62nd Street residence on March 30.
The theft occurred at the home between 17th and 18th avenues around 10:30 pm, when the resident returned home and found the front door wide open and the cash gone, along with some credit and debit cards and assorted electronics, according to authorities.
Not-so-super market
A dastardly duo threatened a man with a knife at a Bath Avenue grocery store on April 1, where they stole $700 in cash and cigarettes.
The employee told police he was in the grocer between Bay 31st Street and Bay 32nd Street just before 9:15 pm when one flashed the knife at him and the other pinned him against the wall before going through his pockets and stealing the cash and cigs.
