Teen terror
A thief beat and robbed a teenage boy on Moore Place on July 28.
The victim, 16, told police the crook approached him and his sister near E. 16th Street at 1:05 a.m., demanding the kid’s valuables, before punching him in the face, and then fleeing empty handed on a Citi Bike.
Bike bandit
A burglar made off with a bicycle stashed in the rear yard of an E. 12th Street home on July 18.
The thief made his way into the back area of the house near Avenue S at shortly after midnight, before nabbing the bike and pedaling away, cops said.
Working man
A man was arrested for allegedly breaking into a construction vehicle parked on Avenue X on July 22.
A witness spotted the suspect smashing a window of the work vehicle near W. First Street at 11:20 p.m., according to police.
Patrolmen arrived in time to see the suspect crawling back out of the vehicle through the shattered glass, and officers claim the man tried to toss a pair of pliers as he was apprehended, cops said.
Basement blues
Thieves invaded a Coney Island Avenue basement apartment on July 26, nabbing more than $3,300 worth of valuables.
The victims told police they were sleeping when the crooks snuck into their home near Avenue S through an unlocked door at sometime after 3:30 a.m., before quietly looting the place and fleeing.
