Three stages of live music serenaded frolickers as the Flatbush Family Fun Fest got underway in Lefferts Garden.
Mom, dad and the kids bonded with the locals during a day of community fun in the sun along Flatbush Avenue, from Empire Boulevard to Parkside Avenue.
Dance shows, Creole hip-hop and other crowd-pleasing sights shared the spotlight with carnival-style attractions, keeping the young and the young-at-heart happy campers throughout a day of neighborliness, coordinated by Changing Humanity All Over Society (CHAOS) and the Flatbush-Empire Merchants Association.
