Sheepshead Bay shoppers flocked to Avenue Y on Thursday morning to be among the first fashionistas to step into the new borough’s newest Marshalls — with some consumers showing up as early as 6 am for the store’s grand opening.
Shoppers entering the massive ultra store between E. 16th and E. 17th streets found THE CUBE, an in-store boutique featuring contemporary fashions for the super hip, and the Shoe Mega Shop for those looking to trick out their tootsies.
The retail store, which boasts “designer fashion at unbelievable prices,” will provide around 60 jobs for the South Brooklyn community, Marshall’s heads say.
