Locked up

A pair of masked brutes locked up an employee and robbed a Fourth Avenue restaurant after hours on May 30, police said.

An unfortunate employee was cleaning the kitchen at the eatery near 88th Street around 3:35 am when the two stormed in. They grabbed him and threw him in a basement office before they hit a cash register for $500 and fled, according to a police report.

Parking wars

A maddened oaf sent a guy to the hospital with a broken jaw over a parking spot on 86th Street on May 27, police said.

The two got into a heated argument over a spot near Fifth Avenue around 9:45 pm. One went berserk, grabbed some brass knuckles, and hit the guy across the face.

He did not stay to claim the spot — instead he fled in his white Toyota sedan on 86th Street towards Fourth Avenue, according to police.

Grab and dash

A light-footed lout snatched a woman’s wallet out from under her arm on Bay Ridge Avenue on June 1, according to a police report.

She was between Third Avenue and Ridge Boulevard around 8 pm when the guy ran up from behind her, grabbed the wallet, and kept on running towards Ridge Boulevard, police said.

Lousy wake up call

An opportunistic ne’er-do-well took a wallet from a man’s car parked on Fifth Avenue while he grabbed breakfast on June 2, according to law enforcement officials.

The guy parked his car between 72nd and 73rd streets around 9:30 am and went to eat. He told cops he may have left it unlocked when the thief struck.
