Ski mask job
Four no-goodniks in ski masks robbed a woman on Avenue Y on March 22.
The victim said she was walking home near Ocean Avenue at 4:20 pm when the four thieves surrounded her, saying, “give me your phone.” They then took her phone and asked her for the password, which she gave, before fleeing in multiple directions, police reported.
Cops say one of the scoundrels was wearing all red and ran on E. 21st Street from the corner of Avenue Y towards Avenue X.
Suit bandit
A miscreant stole suits and other clothes from an Avenue U store on March 22.
Police said they responded to a call at the store near E. First Street around 5:01 am and found the front door’s glass smashed and a brick inside.
Camera footage caught the thief go inside, and steal a Tomboilini suit, Diesel jeans, and Diesel T-shirts, before fleeing towards E. First Street, and then towards Avenue T, according to the police report.
Police searched the area but came up empty.
Jewelry heist
A lowlife stole a lot of jewelry from a Quentin Road house on March 24.
The resident told police she left her home near E. 18th Street at 10 am, but when she returned at 11 pm, noticed someone had entered through her unlocked rear window.
The thief took gold bracelets with diamonds, a gold necklace, a gold and diamond necklace, diamond rings, and gold rings, cops said.
Break-in fail
Police arrested two people who they say tried to break in to an E. 23rd Street house on March 25.
Officers said they were dispatched to the house near Avenue U at 7:55 pm and found the pair trying to kick the door open and breaking windows. They then arrested the two, according to authorities.
