Park Slopers may feel like they’re married to Park Slope author Joshua Henkin over the next two weeks.

The author of “Matrimony” (Vintage) will be doing three readings in and around the neighborhood next week to mark the paperback release of the hit novel.

“It’ll be great — all my friends are here,” said Henkin, who teaches writing at Brooklyn College and Sarah Lawrence College in Bronxville, and has lived in Park Slope for nine years — that’s about how long it took to write “Matrimony,” a coming-of-age novel about a privileged young writer’s love affair with words and with a young co-ed.

“It took about 10 years to write — I threw out more than 3,000 pages,” Henkin said.

Joshua Henkin will be at Community Bookstore (143 Seventh Ave. in Park Slope) on Sept. 9 at 7:30 pm; Bookcourt (163 Court St. in Cobble Hill) on Sept. 10 at 7:30 pm; and the Garfield Temple (271 Garfield Pl. in Park Slope) on Sept. 18 at 8 pm. For info, visit joshuahenkin.com.
