Knifepoint robbery

A scoundrel robbed a man at knifepoint on Ocean Parkway on Feb. 26.

The victim said he was walking to his car parked near Avenue S at 8:15 am when a man pulled a knife on him and said “give me your money.” The victim then gave up credit cards and a debit card, and the thief fled towards Avenue U, police reported.

Police said they did not find the man after searching the area. He was wearing a gray hoodie at the time of the robbery, cops said.

Phone jacked

A jerk stole a teenage girl’s phone on Batchelder Street on Feb. 26.

The victim said she was walking home near Avenue V at 3:05 pm when a man snuck up on her from behind, covered her mouth, and pushed her to the ground. He took her iPhone 6s and fled, according to authorities.

Police said they are looking at camera footage of the area, and that the man was wearing a black hooded jacket at the time.

Watch heist

A good-for-nothing stole several high-end timepieces from a house on E. 17th Street on March 2.

The victim said she left her house near Avenue V at 1 pm, but when she got back at 9 pm, found the front door’s lock broken and forced open. She said someone stole a Burberry watch with a tan leather strap, a gold Rolex watch, a silver Seiko watch, a Samsung smart watch, and a silver Omega watch, officers reported.

Police said they are checking camera footage nearby.
