The School at the Mark Morris Dance Center will host its annual open house at the home of the Mark Morris Dance Group in Fort Greene, September 6 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Activities include classes for all ages and abilities (yoga, tap, Pilates, modern dance, ballet, salsa, tango, West African, music and singing), refreshments from local restaurants such as Mullane’s Bar & Grill, video screenings, and more. All events are free.
The fall semester of classes for children and teens (ages 4-17) begins the week of September 8. Adult classes are available on a weekly drop-in basis and six-week workshops. The children’s open house schedule is available online at www.mmdg.org/openhouse.
