A mother was shot by a stray bullet while picking her child up from school in Brighton Beach on Nov. 5.
Police say the 39-year-old woman was shot in her arm at 2:24 pm on Ocean View Avenue between Brighton 6th and 7th streets while picking her child up from PS 253. She was taken to Lutheran Hospital in stable condition.
Authorities say the victim did not see the shooter and the investigation is ongoing.
