The Girls for Gender Equality’s Fourth Annual Mother Daughter Health and Play Day will be held May 23 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at The Pacific School −PS 38, corner of Nevins and Pacific streets. Admission is free.
Workshops will be facilitated by the ladies of New York University’s Women’s Basketball team, Little Flower Yoga, Pace for Success, the women from The New York Rugby Club and The Center for Anti Violence Education. Diabetes, HIVâ„AIDS, and Puberty Education will by provided by MIC and SUNY Downstate Medical Center.
