Mr. Perfect: Brooklyn teen rolls 300 game

Just call him the Walter Ray Williams of Brooklyn.

Abraham Lincoln High School student Richard King “striked” the right balance between skill and luck when he bowled a perfect game at Shell Lanes during a match with a neighboring school.

The 17-year-old from Sheepshead Bay bowled a 300 during a square-off between his team, the Railsplitters, and a team from New Utrecht High School at his local bowling alley, One Bouck Court.

“I felt my heart pounding,” said Richard, a senior at the school, Ocean Parkway and West Avenue, adding that his stellar strike ignited a near firestorm of cheers from excited spectators.

Although he has been bowling for close to nine years, and bowled 299 on several occasions, this was a first even for him, says the school celebrity, whose classmates are dubbing him “Mr. 300.”

Despite the hurl from heaven, Richard’s team went on to lose to New Utrecht %u2013 1601 80th Street %u2013 by 130 points.

“It was a blow-out,” he lamented.
