Naked came the burglar!

Bottomless break

Cops nabbed a pantless perp suspected of breaking into a Kingsland Avenue apartment building on Dec. 3.

The half-naked hoodlum got into the building, which is near the corner of Richardson Street, between 7:40 and 8:10 am. Once inside, the bare lawbreaker tried to push his way into a second-floor apartment — where a female resident didn’t take kindly to his indecency.

The woman double-bolted the door and called the cops, who nabbed a half-naked 32-year-old in the building’s basement.

Senior slugged

Cops locked up a 42-year-old suspected of pummeling a 70-year-old in front of his McGuinness Boulevard home on Dec. 1.

The pugilist confronted the victim at around 7 am and smacked him in the back of the head with a closed fist, knocking him to the ground.

Fortunately, the victim’s son heard the assault from within the home, which is between Meserole Avenue and Calyer Street, and dashed outside to pull the suspected thug off the senior.

Police said the suspect was carrying a box cutter and a switchblade.

Cash snatch

A crook forced his way into a Franklin Street home and snatched $2,800 from a dresser drawer.

The thug entered between 7:40 am on Dec. 3 and 4:15 pm the next afternoon, grabbing cash from the house, which is between Java and India streets.

Earful crooks

Burglars snatched a pair of earrings when they broke into a Calyer Street home on Dec. 5.

The thieves pried their way into the building, which is between Clifford Place and Banker Street, and snatched the jewelry between 8:30 am and 4 pm.

Bag snag

A crook snatched a 24-year-old woman’s purse at the corner of Metropolitan and Graham avenues on Dec. 1.

The thug yanked the handbag — which contained debit and credit cards — from the woman’s arm at around 2 am, then fled.

Not so Civic

Thugs hot-wired a new Honda Civic from its spot at the corner of Nassau Avenue and Apollo Street.

The crooks shattered one of the car’s windows and heisted the sedan between 9 pm on Dec. 1 and 7:30 pm the next day.
