There’s a block party in the neighborhood – and you’re all invited!

Area frolickers accepted the invitation with good cheer as they gathered for street festivities along Garfield Place, between 4th and 5th avenues, where residents celebrated their neighborhood with a day of food, laughter and party−pleasing amusements.

The cordoned−off block offered younger revelers an opportunity to ride their bikes and play with pals without fear of traffic.
