A brave teller thwarted a would-be robber’s attempt to hold up a Sunset Park bank on Jan. 2.
The crook waltzed into the Fifth Avenue bank between 53rd and 54th streets at 3:50 pm, and proceeded to pass the employee a note demanding cash, cops said.
The worker, however, simply refused to cough up any dough, and the suspect fled empty-handed — but not before surveillance cameras captured footage of him, according to police, who are still searching for the man, and described him as 5-foot-seven-inches tall man with black hair.
