Gluttons and gourmands legged it to East River State Park on Sunday for the annual Taste of Williamsburg and Greenpoint food fair, noshing and glugging on tasty grub and libations from more than 50 of the area’s best restaurants, bars, breweries, and wineries.

Visitors sampled cheeses, beer, peanuts, spices, sugars and teas, gourmet macaroni and cheese, tapas, frozen yogurt, fudge, and more along the fun and savory culinary jamboree, proceeds from which will aid the renovation of the former Engine Co. 212 Firehouse — soon to be the Firehouse North Brooklyn Community Center.

Boerum Hill staple Sottocasa Pizzeria, which opened an second outpost in Williamsburg last year, supplied the showmanship, whipping up Neopolitan-style slices on a portable wood-burning oven, to oohs and aahs from spectators, according to its owner.

“We were making pizzas right there in front of people,” said co-owner Luca Arrigoni. “It was a food show with a very beautiful ending because you got to eat the pizza!”

Along with the top-notch nourishment, the fair was a great opportunity for residents to hobnob with the local food industry and bond with neighbors amid sumptuous vistas of the Manhattan skyline, added the pizza man.

“It was a big party, where people chilled out, and enjoyed great food and amazing views,” Arrigoni said.
