A magic show by local entertainer King Henry, sweet youth performances and the illumination of a majestic timber ignited the holiday spirit in Bay Ridge when the Sunset Park Business Improvement District held a tree lighting in front of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church (OLPH).
Merrymakers united with neighbors outside the house of worship, Fifth Avenue and 60th Street, for festivities which included a merry mingle with Kris Kringle and performances by the Brooklyn Chinese American Association, students from OLPH and St. Agatha School, 736 48th Street, and the Grupo Culturo Sunset Park Dancers.
Also lending musical voice were students from Public School 506, 330 59th Street.
