Visitors got up close with Lady Liberty, retraced the steps of immigrants who arrived through Ellis Island, and then took a trip on Cyclone roller coaster – all without leaving Public School 177.
Pint−sized patriots there paid tribute to the land of the free and the home of the brave by presenting a Flag Day salute to America and its largest metropolis, New York City. with exhibits, re−enactments and musical selections to celebrate June 14, 1777 – the day the founding fathers adopted the Stars & Bars as the nation’s pennant.
