P.S. 48 kid wins ‘Keats’ award

Public School 48 student Amir Ramadan, of Class 4-507, has been named the winner of a 22nd Annual “Ezra Jack Keats” Bookmaking Competition.

Ramadan is the citywide winner for the elementary level, grades three through five, for the book he authored and illustrated entitled, “Night in New York City.”

Ramadan will be honored at a ceremony May 16 at the Donnell Library Auditorium.
