Police-community relations wrapped in friendly competition was high on the menu Wednesday as the kids throughout Patrol Borough Brooklyn South enrolled in the Police Athletic League’s summer program bid a fond farewell to a season filled with fun and games.
Gathering at the Prospect Park Parade Grounds, PAL members from different precincts showed who truly was the finest in baseball, (where the 68th precinct trounced the 67 precinct), basketball, soccer, double-dutch and the always competitive potato-sack race.
After a day filled of activity, kids fueled up on a barbecue feast prepared by their PAL coaches and cops from Brooklyn South.
