Assistant Parks Commissioner Edward Lewis presented AssemblymanWilliam Colton with its distinguished Park Leaf Award recognizing his sponsoring of the supervised summer recreation program and play activities run by the Parks Department Play Associate at Dreier Offerman Park. These activities include sports, board games, arts and crafts water games and more.
Colton provided the grant to the Parks Department to sponsor the Play Associate Mathew Wood for Dreier Offerman Park at Cropsey Avenue and Bay 46th Street, much to the enjoyment of the neighborhood kids who are thrilled with the supervised play program.
