Party time at Veronica Pl. Community garden

Mom, dad and the kids headed for fall fun at the Veronica Place Community Garden.

The urban oasis at the corner of Rogers and Tilden avenues, and Veronica Place, morphed into an autumn wonderland for local residents, who enjoyed a day of community fun and friendship to mark Octoberfest.

A barbecue topped off the revel, which relocated to the nearby Iola Beauty Shop because of chilly temps.
