Pearl Room%A0to host U.S.%A0war veterans

The Pearl Room Restaurant, 8203 Third Avenue in the Bay Ridge section of Brooklyn, will open up its doors for America’s wounded soldiers of Iraq and Afghanistan, November 9 at 7 p.m.

A donation of a $100 dollars will include an open bar, food, meet and greet with Tony Sirico AKA Paulie Walnuts of “The Sopranos,” and additional Celebrity appearances.

The Wounded Warrior Project was founded on the principle of warriors helping other warriors. WWP’s peer mentoring program provides the necessary training for wounded alumni interested in helping their fellow wounded warriors in need.

The Wounded Warrior Project, a non-profit organization whose mission is to honor and empower wounded warriors, offers services and programs such as benefits and career counseling, advocacy initiatives and combat stress seminars to aid in the transition from hospital bed to an independent, productive life.
