Somewhere there’s a sad song in this: a 39-year-old man was robbed of his drum machine at gunpoint during an altercation with a maniacal music lover.
The victim said he was walking down Fulton Street near Adams Street at 5:30 p.m. August 18 when a 46-year-old stranger stopped him in his tracks.
“What are you doing? Give me that!” the man demanded, referring to the $350 drum machine the victim was carrying.
When the victim told him to get lost, the thief pulled a gun and swiped the machine from his grasp, said police, who were still beating the streets for the gunman.
