A one-year-old girl died Friday afternoon after she fell out of a fourth-story window, police said.

Cops were called to the 20th Avenue home near 88th Street just after 4:30 p.m. on August 21 on a report of an unconscious child.

When they arrived at the scene, they found the child unconscious and unresponsive.

EMS rushed the baby to Lutheran Medical Center, where she died of her injuries later that night.

Investigators later learned that the child was playing in her apartment and was out of her parent’s sight for a few moments that afternoon when she toppled out of the window, which didn’t have a window guard.

She landed on a roof two stories down, officials said.

This is the third time in a month that a Brooklyn infant has died from falling out of an unguarded window, officials said.
