Cops arrested a man who they say assaulted a woman on Flatbush Avenue on June 28 after she rejected his advances.
The woman told police she was near Avenue J around 5 pm when a man approached her and tried to chat with her. When she denied him, her pushed her and threatened her, saying “I’ll knock you out, racist b—- — say another word and I’ll f— you up,” officials reported.
Officers apprehended the man minutes later and found him in possession of pepper spray, according authorities.
Hit and run
A driver hit a mother and child as they were waiting to cross the intersection of Avenue I and E. 51st Street on June 29.
The woman told cops she was walking near the intersection with her daughter around 8:57 pm when a motorist in a gold mini van hit them and continued down E. 51st Street.
Car theft
Someone stole a woman’s items out of her car parked while it was parked Ralph Avenue on June 29.
The victim told police that she left her vehicle near Avenue L around 6:30 pm and returned 30 minutes later to find the front passenger-side window damaged and her belongings gone.
License to steal
A nogoodnik lifted a license plate off a motorcycle parked on Avenue U sometime between June 28 and 29.
The victim left his chopper near E. 66th Street around 10:30 am, and the next day noticed the plates were missing, according to police.
School break-in
Someone tried to break into an E. 54th Street school on June 29.
An employee said that when he arrived at the school near Avenue I around 2 am to start work, the outside glass doors were damaged, police reported. Cops also said he reported two windows in the school were broken the day before.
Shot and lift
A trio of shoplifters stole designer jeans from an Avenue U retail store on June 27.
Police said that the thieves entered the store near E. 55th Street around 1:38 pm and left minutes later with the goods.
