Cab fiasco
Cops cuffed a man who they say threw milk and other stuff at and punched a taxi driver on Mermaid Avenue on March 24.
The driver said he was near Stillwell Avenue at 2:20 am when a man came into the cab and said “drive now, I’ll pay after.” The driver said “pay now,” and the man then got out of the car, threw a glass bottle at the driver’s head, and then punched him in the face, according to the police report. The man next went into a store, grabbed some milk, and threw that at the driver too, cops said.
Robbing the elderly
A good-for-nothing pushed an old woman to the ground and robbed her on W. 12th Street on March 12.
The 78-year-old said she was walking near Avenue W at 2:20 pm when the young man slapped her in the face multiple times and then covered her mouth with his hand, telling her to “be quiet,” authorities reported.
Next, he pushed her to the ground and took $1,400 and her wallet from her bag, before fleeing towards Avenue W, police said.
Wallet lift
A jerk took a woman’s wallet in a store on Brighton Beach Avenue on March 23.
The woman said she was in a clothing store between Brighton Seventh and Brighton Eighth streets at 2 pm when another woman reached into her pocket, took her wallet, and left the store, officers reported.
