Crabby, then stabby

A man stabbed an acquaintance of his with a knife on Eighth Avenue on Sept. 28, police said.

Smile!

A sneaky perp stole $2,415 worth of camera equipment from a Plymouth Street apartment on Sept. 25, police claimed.

A surveillance video showed the perp leaving the building near Pearl Street with the items at 6 pm. There was no forced entry; the perp apparently entered the apartment through a nearby room.

A bleacher report

A man stole a bag containing a smartphone, a wallet, a learner’s permit, sweatpants, slippers, keys, and bank cards from a bleacher in McLaughlin Park on Sept. 28, police said.

A man placed his bookbag on the bleachers in the northeast corner of Tillary and Jay streets at 8:20 pm and by 9:50 pm, when he returned, the bag was gone.
