Police: Suspect throws man to the ground and bites him during fight

Chest pains

Cops cuffed a man who they say threw another man to the ground and bit his chest in a fight on 93rd Street on April 6.

The assault allegely went down between Third and Fourth avenues around 11:15 pm, police said.

Backed it up

Police arrested a man for stealing clothes from an 86th Street store on April 3.

Employees at the store between Fourth and Fifth avenues told police the suspect came in around 10 pm and stuffed jeans, pants, a sweater, and socks inside his backpack and tried to leave.

Cashed out

A nogoodnik stole a check out of a 77th Street mailbox at some point around March 3, the sender reported to police on April 4.

The victim told police he put the check in the mailbox at Fourth Avenue on March 3, and that the intended person never received it because someone else cashed it on March 26.

Identity and cash theft

A weasel opened a bank account using the personal information of a Shore Road resident to steal $4,700 around April 4.

The resident, who lives between 95th and 96th streets, reported the theft to police around 3:30 pm the same day.

Biked away

A pair of punks stole a motorcycle from Gatling Place on April 7.

The owner of the bike told police he attached his ride to a railing with a chain between 90th and 92nd streets, and surveillance footage shows the men cutting the chain and taking off with the bike just after 5:30 am, according to the report.
