The woman told police she was near Manhattan Avenue at 3:15 pm and was using her iPhone to play music. Two teenagers ran out from behind, shoved her to the ground, and grabbed the phone out of her hand, she told police. The second teen allegedly grabbed the phone from the ground and both ran off.

The victim chased one of them until police showed up and arrested him. The man has been charged with robbery.

Cut and run

The owner of a car then took a picture of the woman and started to dial 911. Then the woman got really angry, he told cops.

“You calling 911? I’m going to kill you,” the woman allegedly screamed.

She then started to hit him with the pool stick, causing his right arm to swell up, cops said.

Open window policy

A intruder took advantage of an open window at a Russell Street apartment to steal a guy’s tools on May 17.

The man, who lives between Nassau and Norman avenues, told police he woke up at 8 am and found his property missing. He told police that the basement window didn’t have any glass because it was under construction, and that was probably how the robber got in.

No keys, no problem

An ambitious burglar broke into a commercial truck and took a piano on Debevoise Avenue sometime overnight on May 22.

The owner of the truck told police that he left it parked between Richardson Street and Division Place the night of May 22. When he returned at 8 am the next day, he found the front passenger-side window smashed and his piano, along with his tools, watches, sunglasses, and television, missing.
