Police: Trio bashed man in bar fight

68th Precinct

Bay Ridge—Dyker Heights

Three on one

Police arrested three suspects who they say jumped a guy after he tried to break up a Fifth Avenue bar fight on Aug. 4, said police.

Witnesses at the watering hole between 67th and Senator streets told police that at 1:11 am the three brutes punched the victim multiple times, cutting his lower lip and causing significant bleeding to his face. One of the men also struck the victim with a glass bottle, cops said.

Cutting remarks

Officers cuffed a 29-year-old guy for slashing a man across the face with a box-cutter inside a Fifth Avenue bodega on Aug. 5, police said.

The man entered the bodega between 80th and 81st streets at 11:30 pm and yelled, “I’m going to cut you,” before he sliced the left side of the victim’s face. The victim was taken to the hospital and received 13 stiches on his face, said cops.
