Slapped
Police arrested a woman who allegedly slapped a lady in the face and tried to take her purse on Bond Street on Aug. 8.
The victim was talking on her phone by State Street at 2:30 pm when the suspect began to scream and curse, then slapped her on the right side of the face from behind. She next walked in front of the lady and threatened to take her purse by pulling it away, although she was unsuccessful, according to a report.
Teamwork
Cops cuffed three people who they say attacked and robbed a woman in a subway station by Court Street on Aug. 8.
The victim told police she was looking at the subway map inside the station near Joralemon Street at 11:25 pm when six teenagers, three male and three female, hit her in the back of the head and threw her down.
The crew then punched and kicked her, while one of the suspects grabbed her purse and the rest of them ran to the Manhattan-bound 4 and 5 train platform. Police cuffed three of the suspects, according to a report.
Revved up
There were two motorcycle thefts in the 84th Precinct this week. Here’s the rundown:
• First, a thief lifted a Honda while it was parked on Pacific Street between Aug. 6 and 8.
The victim left his ride by Nevins Street at 7 pm on Aug. 6 and returned two days later to find that it had been taken, according to a report.
• Then, a filcher stole a Yamaha motorcycle while it was parked on Henry Street on Aug. 10.
The owner had stored his ride between Joralemon and State streets at 5:45 am and returned at 6 pm to discover it had been lifted, authorities said.
