Students and teachers at PS 120, the Carlos Tapia Magnet School (18 Beaver Street) bounced from country to country, passing through customs desks in order to celebrate their fourth annual Multicultural Day with families and members of the community.
Each grade at the school, which ranges from pre-kindergarten through fifth grade, was responsible for displaying food, clothing and culture for each country. A teacher dressed in Australian garb scooted by a colleague who was wearing traditional Filipino clothing, as they tried snacks from their respective countries.
