The PTAs of Brooklyn’s elementary schools are coming together to sponsor the second annual five−kilometer raceâ„walkâ„strollâ„toddleâ„bike (kids) in Prospect Park, May 2.
Set up begins at 9 a.m., and the race begins promptly at 10 a.m. at Bartel Lot, Prospect Park West & 16th Street, Prospect Park.
Last year’s inaugural race brought out hundreds of runners, parents, students, teachers, school track teams, and principals.
There will be a post−race brunch, face−painting, t−shirts, and prizes. Funds raised are divided among the local elementary schools that participate.
