Two gun-toting bandits raked in $9,600 from a heist in a Seabring Street warehouse on Jan. 5.
At 2:10 pm, the thieves, each wearing a blue mask, entered New Lian Trading between Van Brunt and Richards streets, and immediately drew three firearms.
The seven employees — five men and two women — were led to an upstairs office and bound with plastic handcuffs in a scene straight out of Red Hook’s darker days.
What the hooligans actually said during the raid has been lost in translation, because the besieged workers do not understand English well.
The cuffed workers gave up a total of $9,600 to the robbers. No one was injured.
