Two Trees Management Co. announces that Red Mango, a pioneer of the healthy frozen yogurt craze, with six stores in Manhattan, is opening its first Brooklyn location at 125 Court Street in Downtown Brooklyn. The 10-year lease for 875-square feet of space is at the crossroads of Brooklyn Heights, Cobble Hill, Boerum Hill and Downtown Brooklyn. Caroline Pardo, director of Leasing for Two Trees Management Co. LLC represented the landlord, and there was no broker representing the tenant.
“We’re excited that Red Mango is bringing its fantastic frozen yogurt to Brooklyn,” said Pardo. Red Mango is a great addition to the growing retail selection in Downtown Brooklyn, which includes Trader Joe’s and Urban Outfitters. It’s clear that Brooklyn is truly recognized as a thriving retail location.”
“We are happy to serve the health conscious population in Brooklyn who are looking for a great alternative to ice cream,” said Hannah Han, owner of the Red Mango Court Street franchise. “We’re eager to be part of the development of Downtown Brooklyn.”
Red Mango, known for its healthy, yet indulgent nonfat frozen yogurt, made with natural ingredients and no artificial colors or flavors, is finished with fresh, flavorful toppings and served up in a comfortable and relaxing environment. In 2007, Red Mango became the first frozen yogurt retailer to receive the National Yogurt Association’s Live and Active Culture Seal, a certification given to yogurt manufacturers whose products have live and active culture counts in amounts that researchers have determined to have positive health benefits.
