Wimbledon is serving more than tennis this summer — it’s serving star power, too. The excitement of Wimbledon is crossing the Atlantic once again next month, and bringing Rita Ora with it.

To launch the fourth installment of The Hill in New York, the British popstar will headline a free one-night-only concert at Brooklyn Bridge Park on Friday July 11. The event, presented by American Express, will mark the beginning of a weekend full of tennis shown on the New York City waterfront.

Known for hits like “Praising You,” “Your Song” and “I Will Never Let You Down,” Ora will take the stage with tracks from her latest album “You & I,” bringing her signature sound of dance-pop energy to a crowd of 5,000 lucky fans.

The Hill in New York recreates the iconic Henman Hill from Wimbledon, offering New Yorkers a chance to experience the finals weekend as if they were in London. Visitors can watch live broadcasts of the ladies’ final on July 12 and the gentlemen’s final on July 13, with gates opening at 7 a.m. and matches beginning at 8 a.m. Fans can stick around for “sunset screenings” of “classic matches between tennis legends.”

True to Wimbledon fashion, the park will be transformed into a British-style garden party, complete with food, drink and themed activities.

“As someone who has had the privilege to experience the magic of the Wimbledon finals first hand, I am thrilled to bring that one-of-a-kind energy of The Championships to the iconic Brooklyn Bridge Park,” Ora said. “Get ready for some HEAT!”

While tickets for matches are free, guests must enter a ballot to secure tickets by 11:59 p.m. on July 1. Those who are randomly selected will be informed on July 8, and a limited number of walk-up spots will be available.
