‘Running into walls’

‘Running into walls’

What would you do if your daily routine were interrupted by mortality, the ultimate interruption? How far would you go to fulfill a promise? Is a eulogy for oneself called a melogy? Even in faraway Portland, Oregon, they struggle with these imponderables.

On September 13, 14 and 16, Portland’s Nomadic Theatre Co. brings its hilarious and poignant character-driven clown show, “Running Into Walls,” to Brooklyn’s Brick Theater as part of the New York Clown Theatre Festival.

In the show, physical comedy, trombone medleys, pantomime ninja fighting, bonsai cultivation, and flamenco come together in one raucous story whose hapless heroines tackle these difficult questions.

This show is recommended for adults and kids ages seven and up.

Shows are September 13 at 5:30 p.m.; September 14 at 9 p.m. and September 16 at 8:30 p.m. at The Brick Theater, 575 Metropolitan Avenue in Williamsburg.

All tickets are $15. For more, visit www.theatermania.com or 212-352-3101; you may also visit www.bricktheater.com.
