Ryerson Street neighbors enjoy the summer

The neighborhood soared with community spirit as residents of Ryerson Street between Park and Myrtle avenues gave a final salute to summer with a block party for the record books.

Residents enjoyed a day of fun and festivity filled with a rousing game of baseball and plenty of bicycle riding.

As the kids of the block ran from spot to spot in frenzied activity, proud parents spent the afternoon grilling up a wide selection of barbecue delights and bonding with their neighbors both old and new.
