Held up

Police are searching for a trio of brutes who robbed a man at gunpoint on Pacific Street on Aug. 29.

The victim told police he exited Hoyt Street station and began to walk on Hoyt Street at 11:50 pm when three punks grabbed his backpack to get his attention. When he turned around, two of the goniffs had pointed guns at his chest and ordered him to hand over his wallet, phone, and headphone, with one snarling, “Phone and wallet on the ground, everything on the ground.” The victim gave the armed thieves his iPhone, Beats headphones, and wallet, and they fled, police said.

Hung up

A thief lifted a woman’s bag from the back of her chair while she was inside a Fourth Avenue bar on Aug. 27.

The lady had hung her purse on her seat and was sitting inside the pub near Bergen Street at 11:40 pm, but realized someone had taken it when she got up to leave. The pricey black leather bag contained her credit cards and sweater, according to a report.

Snoozing and losing

Some sneak stole a drunk guy’s bag as he was asleep on a subway station platform near Red Cross Place on Sept. 1.

The intoxicated man was snoozing on a bench in the station by Cadman Plaza East at 5 am and awoke to discover his bag containing his Microsoft Surface Pro, iPhone, and passport had been taken, authorities said.

Office problems

A weasel lifted a woman’s wallet from her desk inside a Jay Street office building on Aug. 28.

The worker said she left her Tory Burch wallet on her desk in the building near Willoughby Street at 9 am and returned one and a half hours later to find it had been stolen. — Lauren Gill
