This Christmas celebration was a homerun!

MCU Park’s Breakfast with Santa event was held at the Coney Island stadium on Dec 21. The ballpark bash featured Santa Claus and the Cyclone’s mascot, Sandy the Seagull — and the celebration drew baseball fans from across the borough.

“We go to Cyclones games all the time, so I figured we’d go out there,” said Angela Loiacono, who lives in Park Slope and attended the breakfast with her daughter, Gabriella.

The big breakfast included pancakes and eggs and after the meal, youngsters could create crafts with their parents. But the focus of the event, of course, was Santa Claus — and one mother said the jolly old elf made all the children feel comfortable.

“There was no crying to sit on Santa’s lap or anything,” said Shenella Mentor-Jones, who lives in Long Island and brought her son, Nicholas Jones, to the festive feast. “He liked Santa.”

One parent who came to the breakfast with his daughter said his family had a ball.

“It was a great time — the food was great,” said Anthony Cosenza, who attended the event for the first time with his daughter, Julietta. “It was a nice atmosphere.”
