Yuletide spirit abounded at Public School 153, where students and staffers extended a rip-roaring welcome to the portly man in the red suit.
Santa %u2013 better known as Brooklyn Graphic columnist Carmine Santa Maria %u2013lived up to his name as he arrived to cheers from an entranced crowd of youngsters, who enjoyed a romp and a revel with their special guest in the auditorium of the school, 1970 Homecrest Avenue.
Santa Maria is also founder and president of the Bensonhurst West End Community Council.
